The author, Amitabha Sinha, is a Sr industrial-AI and digital-transformation evangelist and former Chief Digital Officer who commercialised AI in process industries — refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, and industrial gases — where domain physics, safety constraints, and fragmented OT/IT data make generic AI fail.
